Additional doses of the swine flu vaccine have arrived in San Luis Obispo County. The San Luis Obispo County Public Health Department is distributing approximately 18,000 doses next week.
The vaccines will go to the county's ongoing school vaccination program, vaccination of emergency medical services personnel and additional clinics.
Next week's clinics are being offered by the San Luis Obispo County Public Health Department and are for high-risk people. The clinics are by appointment only, and will be held in Paso Robles, San Luis Obispo, and Grover Beach on Nov. 23.
The clinics will also be open to pre-school aged children older than 6 months who are unable to be vaccinated by a private provider. To schedule an appointment or find out more information call the San Luis Obispo County Public Health Department at 805-781-5500.
