The man who police say admitted to robbing two Central Coast banks earlier this year has pleaded no contest to felony armed robbery, according to the San Luis Obispo County District Attorney's Office.
Steven Celaya turned himself in at the San Luis Obispo Police Department on July 11, and, according to police, admitted to robbing the Bank of America in Atascadero on June 7 and the Chase Bank in San Luis Obispo on May 25.
He entered the plea Thursday during his pre-preliminary hearing.
Celaya is scheduled to be sentenced next month.
