Aerobic exercise may help reduce fatigue in cancer patients.

Many doctors recommend rest for cancer-related fatigue, which can last for months or even years.

A new study found combining rest with aerobic activity helped patients feel less tired and helped reduce muscle loss.

Resistance training and other forms of exercise did not improve fatigue.

Researchers say it's important to deal with fatigue because patients who suffer from it may be less willing to continue their treatments.
