The Arroyo Grande High girls soccer team cruised to a 6-0 season-opening win at Templeton on Tuesday. The Eagles delivered a victory in the debut of first year head coach Bob Wilson.
The dynamic scoring duo of Mallory Flatebo and Nadine Reed gave the AG Eagles a 2-0 halftime lead. Flatebo, who missed the end of last season with a knee injury, scored in the ninth minute of the match. Reed added to the lead with a goal of her own in the 18th minute.
The Eagles scored four times in the second half. Reed scored her second goal, while Kristina Lange, Elizabeth Heyde and Kiana Parker each found the back of the net once.
