Coming off its 3-0 win over San Luis Obispo, the Arroyo Grande High girls volleyball team climbed in the latest CIF-Southern Section coaches poll on Monday.
The Eagles climbed three spots to #6 in Division 2AA. The Tigers dropped six slots to #9. Arroyo Grande remains undefeated in Pac 7 League play.
The Division 3A poll did not change this week because coaches did not report it. Therefore, Nipomo remains #4 despite losing 3-1 to Templeton last week. The Eagles and Santa Ynez are listed among other teams receiving votes.
Coast Union is ranked #3 in Division 5AA, while Coastal Christian is ranked #5.
The Arroyo Grande High girls tennis team dropped out of the top spot in Division 3 despite not losing a match last week. The Eagles are ranked #2 this week in Division 3. Malibu is now ranked #1.
No other tennis teams from the Los Padres or Pac 7 League are ranked this week.
Santa Ynez finished just outside of Division 4.
Santa Barbara is ranked #5 in Division 1.
