A local airport received a special delivery on Saturday to help make some children's holidays a little brighter.
The Friends of Oceano Airport held a toy drive Saturday for Toys for Tots in conjunction with the U.S. Marine Corps.
During the event, new and unwrapped toys were delivered in many ways, including by plane.
There were also aircrafts and antique cars on display, biplane rides, skydiving and much more.
Jolie Lucas, the co-founder of Friends of Oceano Airport, says, "We're just celebrating being here and getting in the Christmas spirit, and looking at the airplanes and enjoying the airport."
She says the Friends of Oceano Airport is dedicated to preserving the airport as an airport.
She says it's the closest public airport to the Pacific Ocean, and they want to protect it so it remains an airport while inspiring the love of flight.
All the toys donated during Saturday's event will go to children in the Five Cities area.
