The California Mid-State Fair is still more than nine months away, but Tuesday, fair organizers announced they've already booked a grandstand band.
Country band Alabama will take the stage Friday, July 20, 2012 at 7:30 in the Main Grandstand Arena. Tickets go on sale December 2 at 10:00a.m., just in time for the holidays. They'll cost between $50 and $100 and can be purchased online by clicking here, or by calling 1-800-909-FAIR. Tickets can also be purchased in person at the California Mid-State Fair box office or at any ValliTix outlet.
Alabama last toured in 2003. The reunion tour next year will be the eighth performance for Alabama at the California Mid-State Fair, the most any band has ever performed at the venue.
Alabama has had 43 #1 hits, including "Love in the First Degree,""Dixieland Delight," and the most recent collaboration with Brad Paisley called "Old Alabama."
The California Mid-State Fair runs from July 18, 2012 through July 29, 2012.
