The San Luis Obispo Chamber of Commerce says the long-anticipated opening of Albertsons on Johnson Avenue is set to happen at the end of June.
The store replaces the vacant Scolari's grocery store that closed in May 2012.
The opening comes after 12 weeks of remodeling the 32,000 square foot location.
The new store will feature Starbuck's, natural and organic foods, a floral department and a local wine and micro-brews section.
