Investigators say alcohol and drugs played a role in the crash that claimed the life of an Arroyo Grande woman earlier this month.
The California Highway Patrol says it has received the toxicology report on 20-year-old Alicia Carreras and it found she was under the influence of alcohol and had marijuana in her system at the time of the crash.
Back on March 11, investigators say Carreras was found dead in her car after her vehicle crashed into a tree near Stanton and Lyn Roads in Arroyo Grande.
