Alleged kidnapper is expected back in court

The Grover Beach man accused of kidnapping and carjacking a Cal Poly student is expected to be back in court Thursday morning.

23-year-old Ryan Soqui is scheduled for an arraignment in a San Luis Obispo County courtroom.

Last November, police say Soqui got into a student's car on campus, pointed a gun at her, and told her to drive to an ATM, where she was able to escape.
