Opponents of seismic testing were spreading awareness with music on Sunday.

C.O.A.S.T. Alliance sponsored the Save our Seas Music Festival in Morro Bay, where local bands came together at Tidelands Park.

C.O.A.S.T. stands for Citizens Opposing Acoustic Seismic Testing.

Organizers say the event is designed to celebrate the local waters and talk with people about the threat that they say seismic testing could have on the environment.

C.O.A.S.T. Alliance spokesperson Mandy Davis says, "People need to understand that they have a voice and they have a choice. Use that voice for the positive."

Information on high-intensity acoustic testing and other ocean issues was also given out at the event.
