The use of alternative medicine is increasing among children, especially those with chronic conditions.
A Canadian study of two specialty health clinics found nearly half of patients were using alternative therapies along with conventional medical care.
The most common therapies were massage, aromatherapy, and relaxation, along with the use of vitamins, homeopathics, and herbal remedies.
