Amber Alert issued for two SoCal girls believed taken by their father

An Amber Alert has been issued for two southern California girls who authorities believe were abducted from their home by their father Sunday night.

According to the Amber Alert information page, six-year-old Natalya Litwin and two-year-old Katelyn Litwin went missing from their Lakewood City home at about 10:30p.m. Sunday. That is near Bellflower, Calif.

The suspect in the abduction is 34-year-old Stephen Andrew Litwin, the girls' father. He is described as a white male, 6 feet 4 inches tall, weighs 165 pounds and has tattoos on his left arm. Officers believe he is traveling with the girls in a silver Mercury Mountaineer. The license plate number is CA- 5LGE045. Authorities say a rear window of the vehicle is cracked.

Authorities aren't sure where Litwin could be headed with the two girls. If anyone believes they see the vehicle, suspect or children, call 911.

We're working on getting the photos of the two missing girls. Check back with KSBY.com for more on this story.
