American GI Forum Youth Group collecting towels this weekend for veterans

Time to clean out the linen closet while helping our local veterans.
The American GI Forum Youth Group is hosting a Towel Drive this Sunday, July 15.
People are encouraged to donate slightly used or new towels to be donated to the Santa Barbara County Veteran's Stand Down. Organizers will give the towels to veterans in need at the Stand Down event taking place October 13 at the Santa Maria Fairpark.
The Stand Down will provide veterans and their families a safe place to obtain services and resources to address a variety of issues and concerns.
The towels will be collected in front of the Wal Mart in Santa Maria and Lompoc from 11am-4pm this Sunday.
