The City of Arroyo Grande will mail out weed abatement notices Wednesday to all property owners in the city.
Property owners are asked to clear all weeds, or other combustible debris, as we approach fire season. The city will start checking properties on May 17 to make sure all owners have complied with its Annual Vegetation Management Program.
If property owners do not comply, the city will hire a contractor to clear the weeds, and owners will be responsible for the cost.
