Another arrest made in shooting of a 15 year old

Lompoc police officers have arrested a third person in connection to a gang-related shooting from December of 2012.

A 15-year-old was taken to a hospital after being shot in the 400 block of North M Street in Lompoc. Gang detectives arrested two people in April, Alejandro Bermudez, 20, and Jaime Cervantes, 22, of Lompoc.

Joseph Perez, 20, was arrested Tuesday. He was already in custody in the Santa Barbara County Jail. He's been charged with attempted murder, felon in possession of a firearm, and aggravated mayhem.
