Another dry stretch ahead

Looks like we'll have to start hoping for a March miracle if we hope to even get close on seasonal rain numbers. Computer models have us in a very quiet pattern through the first week of March which means we'll only fall further behind on rain, already running 2-5" behind about 50-70% of normal rain. Last season about 60% of normal rain fell.
Clear skies and light winds will produce some very cold overnight lows again in wind sheltered coastal and interior valleys. A frost advisory has once again been issued for the coastal valleys as temperatures could drop to below 30 in some spots and potentially damage sensitive plants.
Daytime highs Friday mount a little comeback to near normal (low 60s inland and mid 60s in the coastal valleys). Saturday looks a little breezy and we could give up a few degrees but the general trend is slow warming to near 70 next week.
