Another beautiful and sunny day along the Central Coast. Many though could be waking up to some frost, perhaps on their car windshields or windows, as there is a frost advisory in place until 9am Thursday morning.

A high pressure system and offshore winds could bring gusty breezes up to 15 mph in some areas. Expect some mild temperatures, some areas close to 70-degrees today.

There could be a low pressure system approaching the Central Coast by Sunday, bringing possible precipitation. That weak front is expected to be minimal. A sizable increase in clouds could hit in the middle of the weekend into the start of the next week. But, by Tuesday, that low should taper off.

We are in a potentially lengthy pause in the rainy season, something that is common in the month of January.
