The Lompoc Police Department says they have arrested another suspect in connection to a stolen property ring in the city.

They say Luis Lopez Sr., 42 from Lompoc, was arrested shortly before 8 p.m. on Friday.

Police say they have recovered more than $30,000 of stolen property in Lompoc after serving search warrants in three homes.

Sgt. Chuck Strange says burglaries have been on the rise over the past six or seven months, and officers noticed the people responsible for the crimes seemed to be targeting different geographical locations in the city.

He says that while they have arrested everyone they were looking for, the investigation is on-going and more arrests could be made.

A public viewing of the stolen property will be held at the Lompoc Police Department on Monday, Dec. 10, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
