It is hard to believe we are a day away from Thanksgiving and talking about temperatures getting near 80 degrees. Record highs for the date are closer to 90, but it is about 10 degrees above normal today.

High pressure parked off to our east is giving us offshore winds and clear skies. The position more or less holds through tomorrow. Then a cold front pushes through Friday. That front will run into the very dry air currently at the coast so all it will do is cool us down and provide some occasionally breezy conditions Friday and Saturday.

Beyond that, offshore winds re-develop next week for another round of mild to downright warm weather.

For extended discussion, weather forecast archives and daily high temperature reports go to our weather blog.
