A massive blaze that started in Kern County has now entered San Luis Obispo County.

The Antelope Fire started just before 11 a.m. near the intersection of Highway 33 and Highway 46. Fire officials say five structures are threatened in Kern County but they are not sure if anyone is living in them.

Winds are pushing the flames West, into San Luis Obispo County along the Temblor Range.

More than 300 firefighters are fighting the flames from the air and on the ground, but that number is expected to double as more resources are called in.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
