A San Luis Obispo County supervisor seat is still vacant.
It's been that way since Paul Teixiera died of a heart attack a month ago.
The governor's office says its working to fill the seat, and that applications are being accepted.
To be eligible, candidates must live in the fourth district.
Applications are on the governor's website.
