Those out there wanting to learn how to live a more healthy lifestyle, a free, lecture series called "Healthy for Life Nutrition" is being held in Grover Beach every Tuesday this month at the Exploration Station from 3:30pm-5:30pm.
Topics include the five food groups, portion size, label reading, and the importance of eating different-colored vegetables for disease prevention.
Each lecture includes a food demonstration, tastings, and education of the importance of daily exercising.
It is being organized by Arroyo Grande Community Hospital and French Hospital Medical Center.
