A bank robber is still on the loose in Goleta and deputies are asking for the public's help.
Around 10:45 Wednesday morning, a masked man armed with a handgun held up the Rabobank on the 5900 block of Calle Real, then ran off with money.
Photos of the robber were released by the Santa Barbara County Sheriff's investigators who hope someone will recognize him.
He's described as a heavy set white man who wore a grey or tan mask. He was wearing a dark-colored hoodie, tan pants and black gloves.
Officers say after the man held up the bank he left through a side door with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Bank employees triggered a silent alarm to alert the Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies on the scene secured the area and started searching for the robber.
"Right now, deputies are actively searching for the suspect. They've secured the perimeter and are looking for the suspect," said Kelly Hoover, Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Office.
A K-9 team was also brought in to help with the search.
No one was hurt during the robbery.
Anyone with information about this man is asked to contact the Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Criminal Investigations Division at 805-681-4150.
Today's robbery in Goleta is the seventh bank robbery on the Central Coast since the beginning of June.
