The arraignment for the Arroyo Grande City Councilman accused of domestic violence, has been postponed.

Forty-three-year-old Ed Arnold was scheduled to be arraigned today, but the San Luis Obispo County District Attorney's Office says it's still investigating the case. A new date could be set today.

Arnold was arrested earlier this month for charges including assault with a deadly weapon.

Police say Arnold lived with his wife and another woman. They won't discuss the nature of the relationship between Arnold and the 28-year-old victim.
