A Paso Robles women has been arrested in connection with the missing 16 year old teenage girl from Monterey County.

The amber alert is still in effect.

16 year old Eunice Serrato was reported missing on July 28, 2012 when her parents returned home to find two people had been murdered in their home and their daughter was missing.

Monterey County Sheriff's Department with help from Paso Robles Police arrested 36 year old Maria Aviles Rodriguez Friday on several charges, including kidnapping, child abuse, and destruction of evidence.

Search warrants were served at her home in Paso Robles.

Deputies are still looking for Serrato's boyfriend Juan Manuel Salazar Junior.
