DALY CITY, Calif. (AP) - Police have arrested an 84-year-old man in connection with a shooting at a San Francisco Bay Area medical building.
Daly City police Lt. David Mackriss tells the San Francisco Chronicle Raymond Iwase was taken into custody around 10 p.m. Wednesday at his home and booked into San Mateo County Jail on suspicion of attempted murder. Police say gun and ammunition were recovered.
The incident began around 1:30 p.m. Wednesday when police responded to the medical building after a doctor there reported seeing a man with a gun. The doctor said he heard one gun shot before fleeing.
Patient and staff members were evacuated from the building. No one was hurt.
Police later found evidence a shooting had occurred. A motive hasn't been released.
