Arrest made in Vallejo park shooting

VALLEJO, Calif. (AP) - Authorities have made an arrest in connection with a shooting at a Vallejo park last weekend that left a Vallejo man dead and three others wounded.
The San Francisco Chronicle reports (http://bit.ly/NZWMFS ) that 18-year-old Gregory Joseph Bethany Jr. was arrested Wednesday in Los Angeles.
Police say Bethany opened fire with a rifle Saturday night at a group of people at a picnic, killing 57-year-old Homer Woodrow and wounding a 67-year-old woman, a 35-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy.
Bethany is being held at the Los Angeles County jail on suspicion of murder and attempted murder pending his transfer to Solano County.
