Kyle Brown dominated on the mound and the Eagles collected some clutch two-out hits as Arroyo Grande High baseball beat visiting Burbank 6-1 in a CIF Division 2 first round game on Friday afternoon.
The 19-6-3 Eagles advance to next Tuesday's second round. They'll play #2 seed Temecula Valley. A coin toss will determine the host school.

Muth hit a ground ball to second to score Ball and give AG a 2-0 lead. After Brown walked, Tyler Auerbach clubbed a 2-run double off the right field wall to score Azevedo and Brown and put the Eagles ahead 4-0 after three.
The Eagles added another run in the fourth when Ball hit a sacrifice fly to right field to score Davidson, who doubled to lead off the inning. Davidson led the Eagles with 3 hits. AG tallied 11 hits overall as Ball and Paul Ormonde had 2 hits apiece.
