The chilly weather did not keep more than 100 people in Arroyo Grande from taking their Easter celebration outdoors Sunday.
It was all part of the Harvest Church's annual Easter service in the park. The clouds cleared just long enough for the 10 a.m. service.
The church's pastor says the park provides a unique and inviting atmosphere for the whole community.
"We're a community church, and what better place than out in the community to hold a service," said Steve Henry, pastor of Harvest Church. "It's a less threatening environment for people to show up to a service if they're not used to going to church on a Sunday morning."
Sunday's Easter service is just one of several outdoor events put on by the church each month. The next is set for May 15.
