Arroyo Grande City Councilman Ed Arnold tells KSBY News via e-mail he intends to issue a statement at Tuesday night's City Council meeting.
On the agenda for that meeting, is an action item in which the City plans to ask for Arnold's resignation. Arnold has been in the public eye since December, when he was arrested on domestic violence and assault charges. He's accused of beating up a 28-year-old woman in that case. But then earlier this month, the San Luis Obispo County District Attorney's Office filed child pornography charges against Arnold. They say while searching his home earlier this year, investigators found nude photos of underage girls and a video tape of an underage girl taking a shower in his home. Arnold has pleaded not guilty to those charges.
