Arroyo Grande police officers arrest a man they say broke into some vehicles in the city.

Police were called out to the 200 block of Oro Drive around 4 a.m. Thursday. When they got there, officers say they say 18-year-old Mykel Curtis Blair shining a flashlight into parked cars. He then opened the door of an unlocked van.

When officers tried to stop him, he ran, but they soon caught up with him.

Officers found several stolen items in Blair's possession and tools commonly used in burglaries. Blair was booked into the San Luis Obispo County Jail.
