The Arroyo Grande High girls volleyball team withstood a talented Templeton team to win its final preseason tune-up 25-18, 25-23 and 25-16 on Tuesday night.
The AG girls started the week #9 in the Division 2AA, while Templeton was #10 in Division 3A.
Arroyo Grande was led by Millisa Morrow's 15 kills, while Alyssa Koenig added 13 kills. Alaina Hogeboom, the Eagles' sophomore setter, dished out 30 assists.Lindsey Wyatt compiled 18 digs for Templeton, while Heather Fields recorded team-highs with 8 kills and 20 digs. Carly Roth added 6 kills, while Sydney Roth had 13 assists.
After an 11-3 preseason, Arroyo Grande opens Pac 7 League play on Thursday at home against St. Joseph. 4-7 Templeton starts Los Padres League action on Thursday against Lompoc.
