A rural Arroyo Grande woman is facing charges of attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon after San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's deputies say they responded to a fight at her home.
At approximately 5:45 am on Wednesday, Sheriff's officials say they received a 911 call about a couple fighting at their home on the 400 block of Corralitos Road.
When deputies arrived, they arrested Mary Bowdey, 45. She was examined at a local hospital, and then booked into County Jail.
The male victim was taken to another hospital, where he was treated for non-life threatening cut wounds.
Two children were in the home at the time of the incident, but were not injured. They were placed in the custody of Child Welfare Services.
