Longtime Central Coast artist John Ramos is opening his Morro Bay studio this evening to help raise money for local elementary students. And you could leave with one of his newest prints as part of a raffle for the cause.
With the looming budget cuts for San Luis Coastal Unified School district expected in the 2013-14 year, John and his daughter Elena decided to bring local businesses, teachers from Del Mar Elementary School and PTA members together to support art education.
This evening, the John Ramos Gallery will host the Morro Bay Chamber mixer from 5:30-7:30. Durning the event, one of John's framed, signed and limited edition prints will be raffled off, with all proceeds directly benefiting Del Mar Elementary School.
The mixer is open to all Chamber Members, members of Del Mar Elementary School PTA, faculty and staff. The gallery is at 407 Morro Bay Blvd.
