UNDATED (AP) - Iranian state-run TV says at least 40 people have been killed in a major earthquake near the Iran-Pakistan border.
The U.S. Geological Survey says today's 7.8 magnitude quake struck the lightly populated region. And it was felt as far away as Delhi and the Gulf cities of Dubai and Bahrain.
Less than a week ago a quake in Iran killed at least 37 people.
