Atascadero Crossfit hosting fundraiser for fallen hotshot crew

Atascadero Crossfit is hosting a fundraiser on Saturday for the 19 hotshot firefighters killed in Arizona in June. The fundraiser goes from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Guests can donate by working out. There will also be a car wash, bake sale, and a bounce house for kids. The event hits close to home for the two owners of Crossfit. They're both San Luis Obispo County firefighters. "We're throwing this event. It's going to be a workout. We're also going to have a bounce house for the kids. We'll have a car wash station, even a baked good sale. Our members are so awesome that everyone that jumped at the opportunity to help out and volunteer," said Dustin Virgil, the Head Trainer at Atascadero Crossfit. 100% of the proceeds will go to the families of the fallen hotshot crew.
