An Atascadero man was arrested Tuesday at his home on child pornography charges.
Andrew Guy Pratt, 47, has been indicted by a federal grand jury on five counts of receiving and possessing child pornography videos. According to the indictment, it happened between August and November 2010.
There are eight videos listed in the indictment. Some of file names are highly vulgar. According to the file names, the videos he allegedly had contained children between the ages of 6 and 10 years old.
The court documents state Pratt knowingly received the videos on his desktop computer. The FBI says there is no evidence Pratt produced the films, but officials are still investigating.
The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Office are working jointly on the investigation. Officials say there is no information to suggest the children in the videos are local, but they are working with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children to identify the victims.
Pratt already had his initial appearance at the U.S. District Court in Los Angeles. He posted $70,000 bail, but the FBI says there are limits on how close he can be to children.
