A dog who serves as an inspiration to his ill owner, is being reported stolen out of Atascadero.

Dudley is a 1-year-old, white, Peke-a-Poo (pekingese and poodle mix), who went missing in March.

His owner believes someone might have snatched his dog from his back yard.

Oz Vigiani is undergoing a Chemotherapy-like treatment, and says Dudley has been a much-needed companion during his recovery.

"My wife would go off to work, and since we don't have kids, Dudley and I were kind of hang-out buddies," said Vigiani. "He would make me laugh, and keep me going on days when I wasn't feeling all that great."

Vigiani says the Atascadero community has been very supportive during the search for his beloved dog.

If you have seen Dudley, call Oz and Bonnie Vigiani at (805) 286-1130 or (805) 460-6678.
