There are still more questions tonight about the body that was found near a creek in Pismo Beach Monday afternoon.
Investigators tell KSBY News an autopsy was performed on the body Wednesday, and they believe either the man took his own life or his death was accidental. They say they are no longer considering the death suspicious, but are still waiting for toxicology results to finalize that theory.
Officers say the body is that of a 40-year-old white man, but they have not released his name.
