Ballet Theatre San Luis Obispo takes the stage this weekend with "Autumn Dances," an eclectic selection of themes,... each on a separate point, so-to-speak.
Artistic Director and Choreographer Theresa Slobodnik says the performances also offer a sampling of what's to come later in the year. "We're actually presenting two excerpts from our holiday program," she says "...one from 'The Velveteen Rabbit' and one from a brand new ballet called 'Degas and Marie,' both coming up in December at the Spanos Theatre."
"Autumn Dances" will be performed at the Dance Obispo Studios, which will be transformed into a "black box" space.
The studio's on Higuera in downtown SLO.
