Water samples taken Monday show the amount of bacteria in San Luis Obispo County waters are higher than the state standards.
About 14 areas in the County showed a significant amount of water bacteria, including Avila, Shell, and Pismo Beach.
All of the sites listed below were posted with health advisories:
•OCB12: Oceano Beach (Pier Ave)
•PB3: Pismo Beach (302 yards south of pier)
•PB4: Pismo Beach (14 yards south of pier)
•SEW 7: Shell Beach (Silver Shoals Drive)
•AB 8: Avila Beach (149 yards east of pier)
•AB 9: Avila Beach (176 yards west of pier, half-way between pier and San Luis Creek)
•OLDE 12: Olde Port Beach (131 yards west of lifeguard station/restrooms)
•HAZ10: Hazard Canyon
•MB11: Morro Bay (25 yards north of main parking lot)
•MB13: Morro Bay (Atascadero Ave)
•CAY13: Cayucos (Studio Dr)
•CAY14: Cayucos (D Street)
•CAY15: Cayucos (half-way between pier and creek)
•PICO23: San Simeon (Pico Ave)
