Bail has been set at $1.1 million for the Lompoc woman charged with murder after last week's deadly crash on Highway 246 that killed a former Santa Ynez Valley teacher.
In her court appearance Monday, Rebecca Cristal Sandoval, 37, did not enter a plea, according to officials at the Santa Barbara County District Attorney's office.
Sandoval has been charged with murder, felony gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated and felony driving under the influence of drugs causing bodily injury after the December 19 crash near the Chumash Casino that killed Linda Wall, 68, and injured a 28-year-old woman.
She is also charged with a misdemeanor count of driving under the influence of drugs on July 11.
Sandoval is expected to be back in court on Friday.
