Results are in from water tests at two area beaches, after sewage spills plagued the areas earlier this week.

The water has been tested at both Avila and Oceano beaches, and both tests came back clear.

All warnings have been lifted, and the water is now considered safe to swim in.

Environmental Health officials say hundreds of thousands of gallons of partially-treated sewage spilled into Oceano waters on yesterday.

On Tuesday, 1,000 gallons of raw sewage also spilled in San Luis Obispo, and about ten percent of that eventually ended up in the waters off of Avila Beach.
