The California Highway Patrol has issued a Sig Alert for Hwy. 101 southbound, north of the Cuesta Summit.

A little after 7 a.m. a semi-truck jack-knifed on the highway, blocking the middle and right lanes of Hwy. 101. Although there is not an estimated time of reopening the lanes, the CHP says a tow truck is enroute to the accident. Traffic is backed up to Hwy. 58, and there may be limited visibility due to fog in the area.
