Blake out for Lakers, Curry might be out for Warriors

Steve Blake won't play for the Los Angeles Lakers in Friday's Game 3 against the San Antonio Spurs, and fellow guards Steve Nash and Jodie Meeks are doubtful. Blake has a strained right hamstring that will keep him out indefinitely.

Nash got two epidural injections in his back and a cortisone injection in his right hip in an attempt to fight off his nagging pain. Coach Mike D'Antoni says Nash is more likely to play than Meeks, who has a sprained left ankle.

Golden State's Stephen Curry is unsure if his sprained left ankle will be healthy enough for him to play in Game 3 against Denver on Friday night. He says the ankle became swollen after Tuesday night's 131-117 win at Denver evened the best-of-seven series at a game apiece. He sat out practice Thursday.
