The San Luis Obispo Blues broke a five game losing streak with a 4-0 win over the visiting Santa Maria Reds on Friday night.
Blues catcher Alex Tucker hit a line drive past the Reds shortstop in the second inning to put the Blues up 2-0.
In the fourth inning, Blues center fielder Sean Ullrich reached first on a single, stole second and third and scored on a bad throw from Red's catcher Andrew Penner to put the blues ahead by three.
Nick Flair gave the blues their final run of the ballgame, reaching home from first base on another Reds error.
Blues starter John Marc Shelley, pitched four perfect innings, striking out two in the win.
Blues closer Matt Lynch walked the previous batter before striking out the last batter looking to secure the win for the Blues.
The Blues (30-13) will face the Conejo Oaks tomorrow at 4 p.m. at SLO Stadium in Sinsheimer Park.
