The San Luis Obispo Blues beat Top Speed Baseball 3-1 at home on Saturday night and the Blues have now won seven games in seven days.

The Blues never trailed as they scored runs in the second and fourth inning to go ahead 2-0. Catcher Cody Dufrene from Nichols State hit a solo homerun for the Blues. The win went to starting pitcher Gandy Stubblefield from Texas A&M who allowed one unearned run and struck out nine in five innings.

The Blues will finish their three game series with Top Speed on Sunday at 1:00 at Sinsheimer Stadium. Top Speed is from Northern California.
