The San Luis Obispo Blues were back in action on Monday night for the first time since blowing a 9-1 lead and losing on Saturday. The Blues almost compounded the agony by losing another late lead. The Blues were ahead 10-4 against Conejo in the ninth inning before the Oaks scored six runs in the ninth to tie it. The Blues recovered to score the game winning run in the bottom of the ninth to secure an 11-10 win. The Blues improve to 12-7 in the California Collegiate League and 22-11 overall. Last place Conejo drops to 7-12 in League play and 8-16 overall.

The Blues are off until Thursday when they host the Santa Maria Packers at 6:00. Ten Blues players will travel to Los Angeles for the California Collegiate League All Star game on Wednesday night. The game which showcases CCL players to professional scouts starts at 7:00 and can be seen on Fox Sports West.
