Blues lose in extra innings after moving up to 4th in the nation

The San Luis Obispo Blues played their 13th game in as many days, the Blues lost 5-4 in ten innings at Santa Paula. The loss drops the Blues into a first place tie with the Halos. Both teams are 12-7 in the California Collegiate League. The Blues are now 25-8 overall with a home game against the Halos on Tuesday and a home contest against Bakersfield on Wednesday before an off-day on Thursday.

Earlier on Monday the Blues moved up the national rankings, they're now ranked fourth by perfectgame.org. The Santa Barbara Foresters (18-8) are ranked 24th.
